Let’s get started. First take the case box and tape up the side flaps. Put your ball spinner inside the box. The box will keep things from getting messy. Fill your spray bottle with water. Have some old hand towels ready to wipe off ball. Now you are ready to clean or resurface your bowling ball. Cleaning your ball 1. Apply some acetone to a towel. 2. Wipe all over ball to remove oil and dirt. 3. Once clean, place ball in ball spinner. 4. DO NOT use ACETONE in or around ball spinner!
Resurfacing your ball 1. Spray ball with water 2. Cut sand paper into quarters. Let’s start with 320 grit. (Note: the lower the grit #, the more rough the paper) 3. Place sand paper in the palm of your dominant hand and place on ball 4. Start spinner 5. Apply slight pressure downward 6. Spray more water using other hand 7. Wipe with towel 8. Turn off spinner 9. Turn ball over and repeat steps 1-8 using fresh sand paper with the same grit 10. Repeat steps 1-9 with 400 grit 11. Continue the process progressing up through the different grits of sandpaper stopping on the desired surface
Finessing your ball 1. Follow the resurfacing steps progressing up to the 1000 grit 2. Apply Finesse It to a clean, dry towel 3. Start spinner and push towel down on ball keeping it there till it generates some heat 4. Use clean portion of towel to buff polish and work into ball 5. Turn off spinner 6. Turn ball over and repeat steps 1-5
